Dear friends,

we’re happy to invite you in Luxembourg the 27th and 28th of June 2024 for the second event of “Become a Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon”. After the Animal lab organized in February 2024 by Sonja Chiappetta we organize a live surgery congress dedicated to bariatric and metabolic surgery.

It is addressed to surgeons, young surgeons and residents interested in bariatric and metabolic surgery.
The faculty is composed only by young surgeons (<45 y/o) with the exception of the honorary president. 39 young faculty surgeons coming from 11 different countries.

The program is composed of:
– 4 live surgeries (2 by robotic approach and 2 by laparoscopic approach)
– 3 lecture sessions with “step-by-step”, “teaching and learning” and “technology and techniques”
– 3 video sessions with 2 prices for the 2 best videos
– 1 honorary lecture by the honorary president

The congress has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council on CME (EACCME) with 12 European CME credits.

The congress is a Young-IFSO event endorsed by IFSO and TROGS.

Come to visit Luxembourg and sharing knowledge, experience, doubts and curiosity about bariatric and metabolic surgery in a very young context.
